Kate Shenk is the Manager of Regulatory Affairs, Biobased Products & Renewable chemicals in the Industrial and Environmental Section at the Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO). Prior to joining BIO in May 2013, Kate worked at DCLRS where she focused on agriculture and pesticide legislative and regulatory issues. Outside of BIO, Kate is active with Women in Government Relations and sits on the Board of Directors. Originally from Rhode Island, Kate misses the beach the most and tries to get back during the summer months as much as possible.
