Less than a week to go until the 7th Annual BIO Asia International Partnering Conference and it is clear that we are on pace to beat the number of total partnering meetings done from last year.
Check out the little snippet from Google analytics to the right. This past Monday represented the highest day of activity within the system to date!
In 2008, we had a total of 693 partnering meetings scheduled at the conference over the course of two days. To date (1.19.10 10am) there are 595 meetings already scheduled, with another 115 or so to be scheduled, so theoretically we’re already over 700.
A couple of logistical changes have allowed for a larger capacity of meeting spots. Based on our 2008 survey results (yes we do read those), the attendees have spoken, and here is what you asked for:
1) More intense partnering – meeting timeslots dropped from 45 minutes to 30 minutes
2) More timeslots during the 2-day event (18 total slots up to 36). You can even partner during lunch if you so choose.
3) A more focused program – we’ve cut out the afternoon sessions to open up additional meetings for you.
Take this year’s survey and let us know what we got right and what you would like to see done differently.
