Even though BIO 2015 in Philadelphia was just two months ago, we already are hard at work getting ready for 2016 and the BIO International Convention in San Francisco (June 6-9, 2016).
Our team at BIO is always imagining new ways to improve your experience, to make the most of your time and your meetings and to ensure that you are hearing directly from the key science, policy and investment leaders that allow you to learn and grow both professionally and personally.
To do this, we depend on your valuable perspective. What are the hot topics that will be at the forefront of your work in 2016 and beyond? Who are the business, science and regulatory experts you would most want to listen to? What types of sessions will be most valuable to you?
I would like to personally encourage you to submit a proposal during the 2016 BIO International Convention Call for Sessions (September 17–October 15, 2015). For the latest information, visit http://convention.bio.org/pitch. The site provides detailed information about submitting your session ideas.
As we imagine 2016, we would like your input. We want to make sure that our sessions give you both the concrete tools to move your work forward and the thought leadership that will stoke your imagination for developing the next generation of breakthrough innovations. We want to make sure the BIO Convention tackles the big questions and presents the bold ideas that will shape the future.
Albert Einstein wrote, “To raise new questions, new possibilities, to regard old problems from a new angle, requires creative imagination and marks real advance in science.” These words embody the mission, the passion and the perspective of the men and women across the globe who have made biotechnology their calling and their lives’ work. You are the leaders who envision a world free of disease, free of hunger and free of pollution.
Our goal is to make the BIO International Convention the place where you can build the relationships and acquire the knowledge to achieve your objectives… to raise new questions and new possibilities, to give you and your colleagues a unique venue and platform to pave the way for the future of innovation.
Have a great rest of the summer and we look forward to hearing from you soon!
