Congressional Officials Support Speedier Pathway Approvals for Advanced Renewable Fuels

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has finalized its rule to identify additional cellulosic biofuel production pathways and pathway components that could be used in producing qualifying renewable fuel under the Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS). This final rule describes EPA’s evaluation of cellulosic biofuels derived from biogas. The 2014 BIO International Convention drew 15,667 industry leaders, including nearly 2,500 CEO’s, from 50 states and 70 countries.  This year’s event was held June 23-26, in San Diego, CA.
