Advanced Biofuel Producers Are Reaching Milestones in Commercial Development

In a recent press release, BIO announced its Advanced Biofuels and Biorefinery Platforms Track Sessions to be showcased at its annual World Congress on Industrial Biotechnology.

“Advanced biofuels companies are reaching a key stage of commercialization this year, with three commercial scale pioneer plants scheduled to come online,” said Brent Erickson, executive vice president of BIO’s Industrial & Environmental Section. “BIO’s World Congress will provide a status report on additional advanced biofuel technologies – such as aviation biofuels and drop-in hydrocarbons – that are being commercialized. ”
