#BIOBuyside Twitter Chat: What Do Biotech Investors Expect in 2014?

Inside BIO Industry Analysis

Is 2014 a good time to invest in biotech? How many biotech IPOs will there be? Which sectors will perform the best?

To find out what investors think about these questions and more, BIO is conducting its annual Buy-side Investor Perception Survey and releasing the results at the 16th Annual BIO CEO & Investor Conference in New York, Monday Feb. 10.

But as the results are coming in, BIO is hosting the #BIOBuyside Twitter chat on February 4 and 5 with David Thomas, CFA, BIO’s Director of Industry Research and Analysis. During the chat, Thomas will provide a sneak peak in to the results, answer any questions you have about them, and discuss the outlook for the biotech industry in 2014.

How can you participate in the #BIOBuyside Twitter chat?

Prior to and during the chat on Feb. 4 and 5, submit your question on Twitter and use the #BIOBuyside hashtag.

Follow @IamBiotech and @InsideBioIA on Twitter. @IamBiotech will moderate the chat and David Thomas will answer your questions from @InsideBioIA.

Feel free to start posting questions and spreading the word!

Full results of the survey will be presented at the opening remarks of the BIO CEO & Investor Conference. Mark Schoenebaum, of International Strategy & Investment, will continue the discussion as moderator for the opening plenary panel, A Room with a (Buy-Side) View: The Year Ahead.

  1. Will it be possible to either be able to download the discussions since I shall not be able to attend or to call in on an 800 number or click on a specified url you would provide to listen to the conference speakers and remarks? Even if this is after the conference would be acceptable.

Nicholas – We will gather the discussion together in Storify and we’ll have the actual data available next week. I’ll be sure to post links here!
