It’s hard to believe that we’re a mere 12 days out from the start of BIO 2014 in San Diego. We are excited to be back in one of the 3 largest life sciences regions in the country. Over 1,700 exhibitors including 55 State and Country Pavilions will be exhibiting including 3 new Country Pavilions: Algeria, Portugal and South Africa. Attendees and exhibitors can look forward to exciting events and new additions to BIO 2014.
We have created the Digital Health Zone based on the need to find cost-effective, patient–centric solutions. Some forward thinking companies included in this Zone focus on next generation sensors for disease diagnosis, disease management apps, Patient specific data capture solutions and much more! There will also be an App Bar with demonstrations of these advanced apps during the Convention.
BIO has partnered with the National Institutes of Health and the National Science Foundation to feature over 40 Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) funded early-stage biotech companies to be a part of our new Innovation Zone. These companies, focused on drug discovery, diagnostics and other platform technologies are rigorously vetted through the NIH and NSF SBIR review process prior to receiving up to $1 million dollars in funding to engage in Research & Development that has the potential for commercialization
Please make sure you visit both of these Zones located in Hall H in the Exhibit hall, they will also be part of the Exhibitor One on One Partnering System.
Also make sure you visit the 2015 Exhibit Sales Office located in Hall H of the exhibit floor during the Convention to choose your Prime exhibit space for BIO 2015 to be held June 15 -18 in Philadelphia, PA. We typically sell approximately 80 percent of exhibit space while on-site so it is imperative to make your appointment to secure your Prime space for 2015!
Look forward to seeing you in San Diego in a few short weeks!
