Earlier this morning at the Biotechnology Innovation Organization’s (BIO) International Convention in Boston, BIO proudly attempted – and set– the GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS title for the Largest Business Partnering Event. This achievement speaks volumes – literally and figuratively – about the power of collaboration in creating innovative technologies.
As BIO’s Joanne Duncan noted:
“Having hosted more than 350,000 partnering meetings in our history, made possible through the BIO One-on-One Partnering™ system, we offer the biotech industry a state-of-the-art platform to identify partners and communicate efficiently.
Duncan continued, “Achieving the GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS title is proof that the BIO International Convention is the premier event for business leaders, investors, biopharmaceutical innovators and advocates to collaborate on the latest breakthroughs in science and technology.”
BIO One-on-One Partnering and the Business Forum at BIO 2018 are where innovators and investors meet, collaborate and develop synergies that lead to historic medical breakthroughs. It’s because of our amazing, dedicated attendees that our industry continues to make history and change lives.
BIO is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year and looks forward to continuing its efforts to achieve historic policy and innovation milestones that will help build the world’s strongest biotech ecosystem.
