In 1993 two important events of historical significance occurred: BIO was born, and Diana Ross entered the Guinness Book of Records as the most successful female music artist in history. Fast forward 25 years and both institutions are thriving.
Diana Ross will showcase her longevity in a concert June 6 during the BIO International Convention where attendees can unwind to Motown, feast on delicious food and party like it’s 1993—or something like that. It’s just what the doctor ordered after a long day of partnering meetings, networking, covering the exhibit booth and absorbing the many educational panel sessions.
Before embarking on a solo career which began in 1969, Diana Ross was a member of the iconic Supremes, the internationally acclaimed 1960s R&B and pop trio whose songs are still heard and played today. She went on to have many of her own hits during the next four decades while also pursuing successful movie and television careers. Her long list of awards includes a Presidential Medal of Freedom, numerous Grammys, several Golden Globe awards, an Oscar nomination and a Tony award. She is the perfect icon to celebrate BIO’s 25th anniversary.
See Diana Ross in concert and take advantage of all that BIO 2018 has to offer including several other networking events, BIO One-on-one Partnering™, Start-up Stadium, 1800+ exhibits, 19 educational tracks and more. Complete information can be found at convention.bio.org.
